UNIVENTION SUMMIT 2026 - LET'S CONNECT
IT service providers, software manufacturers and users from all over Germany and Europe will once again meet at the Univention Summit in 2026 to discuss trends, challenges and smart solutions relating to digital sovereignty in administration, education and business.
The event will be more open and interactive than ever: keynote speeches by internationally renowned speakers, panel discussions, practical presentations and workshops will offer exciting impulses and insights into the world of open source. In the exhibition, around 30 IT partners will present their solutions and service offerings for sovereign IT and invite visitors to exchange ideas. The 2026 programme will be supplemented by various interactive formats such as themed cafés, discussion rounds, open stages and a varied accompanying programme - in other words, plenty of opportunities for discussions, networking and new collaborations.
Felix Kronlage-Dammers, Head of the Forum SCS Standards, will take part in the panel „Requirements for the Germany Stack“ on Thursday, 29 January 2026, 11:30 a.m. on the Main Stage and represent Sovereign Cloud Stack.
„Everyone is talking about the planned German stack. But what requirements must it fulfil in order to meet the demands of digital sovereignty on the one hand and to be quickly implemented and deployable on the other? What role does open source play, where will the track be operated and what does it need to include for local authorities and federal states? These and other pressing questions will be discussed by the panellists.“
