Knowledge transfer

Learn together. Operate openly. Improve.

Knowledge transfer is a central component of the Sovereign Cloud Stack – based on the Open Operations Manifesto. Secure, sovereign cloud infrastructures are created not only through open source, but also through the open exchange of operational knowledge.

SCS promotes a community of practice in which experiences and processes are shared – for greater quality, resilience and interoperability. For more information on the Open Operations Manifesto, please visit openoperations.org

Open Operations as the basis for SCS knowledge transfer

We are building an open community of practice in which knowledge is shared and developed collaboratively in a low-threshold manner.

Pair operating, joint problem solving and continuous exchange create new perspectives.

Internal and external communities are networked with each other in order to learn from each other and create synergies.

We promote the development, transfer and long-term preservation of operational knowledge.

Knowledge is treated like open-source code – freely accessible, reusable and infinitely shareable.

This creates a shared knowledge base that benefits everyone.

We embrace an open culture of error, in which challenges and failures are also shared.

Every incident is an opportunity to learn and improve. By documenting incident histories, we build trust and prevent recurring errors.

We publish and document our operational processes to ensure quality and traceability.

Transparency promotes better processes and enables valuable feedback from the community.

This transforms previously closed structures into a source of shared knowledge.

Lean SCS Operator Coffee

Do you operate an SCS environment or work with it on an operational basis? And then sometimes you just get stuck and need someone to talk to?

Then the Lean SCS Operator Coffee is just the right format for you!

This is where SCS users meet in a relaxed atmosphere to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and find solutions together – in a pragmatic, open and technically sound manner. And all in line with the open operation approach.

Here's how you can participate:

The Lean SCS Operator Coffee takes place on the first Thursday of each month Month from 10:05 to 10:55 instead.
